SSDI on the road?

I am on SSDI and I'm wondering what I might need to do about my SSDI?  I am in Idaho for now and not sure what changing my state of residence would do or would I be better off keeping a Idaho address?

I changed all my mail to a PO Box, then I have the mail forwarded to me or one of my adult children. I see my doctor every four months, so I do a four month boondocking trip and then return to my home base for appointments and tests. Then I get back on the road. For medications I use a national pharmacy and have my prescriptions filled at the closest one.

Ssdi is based off your work earnings so it shouldn’t be affected no matter which state you are in. If you had Ssi then that would be affected because every state pay different amounts based off of the cost of living in that state.
