Howdy to all. Found this great site the other day messing around on the computer when I should have been outside raking up the leaves! Boy, did I luck out!

Been rv camping for 20 years or so. In 2010 purchased a pristine used Peterbilt 379 road tractor and began converting it to a motorhome; it took five years and is now mostly done.

My wife and use it for camping and traveling around; we a casual users, not full timers. I also use it for driving to the many Amateur Radio flea markets I attend around the midwest. I like to travel on the cheap; Walmart is my favorite overnight stop.

Look forward to reading all the info here on the blog.

Who knows, out west soon to Quartzite and some BLM sites for longer stays.

Thanks,

Speed Gray, K8SG

Cool, got any pictures of that rig? Looks very cool :)

2nd the picture request. Sounds like a custom interior.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Speed Gray! Yes, go west and join us all at Quartzsite! Custom rigs are common but no one has brought a Peterbult yet. We want to see it in person. :)

Hey...another Peterbilt fan!!

I too have a customized Peterbilt toter...altho mine is a bit shorter and older than yours.
(it's a hot-rod built on a 1-ton Chevy dually chassis, and the cab is from a 1961 model 351)

YES, we'd definitely love to see more pics of your truck...inside & out!!

Welcome to the forum!
