I pick up my Casita this summer. I'll fulltime it in NM first and who knows where after a year or so. My blog is rvsueandcrew.wordpress.com

My two rat terriers are coming along with me --Spike and Bridget.

I don't have any experience. This is definitely learn-as-you-go or maybe jump-off-a-cliff . . . something like that! My budget is very small, but I plan to enjoy myself anyway.

At any rate, it will be an adventure!

rvsue

Welcome Sue and crew! This is a wonderfully friendly forum with lots of people willing to advise and share their knowledge!

rvsue,
I just spent some time reading your blog, and I know why you are on a very small budget!

You've already spent all you had, just getting ready to go rv full-time.

If I could afford to spend like that, I'd go to Las Vegas and have more fun with the money!
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! Love that photo of the Casita. I start salivating every time I see one.

Yes, it makes me sick how much money I have spent lately. After years of scrimping I've been letting loose! Believe me, the belt-tightening is about to resume.

And yes, pets are expensive. If I had known years ago that I'd be living in a little trailer full time, I probably wouldn't have gotten a second dog. Now that I have Bridget, along with Spike, I can't imagine living without either of them.

I notice several people from here have been visiting my blog. Thanks! I promise I will blog about life as a vagabond soon! My waiting days will soon be over.

rvsue

Welcome to the forum RvSue!!! Where and when in Tejas are you picking up your Casita?

I'm hoping to have the sale of my house finalized by the end of July. I will go to the factory in Rice, Texas (south of Dallas) to pick up my trailer.

Thanks for the welcome.
I like Rice, not just cuz I'm half Chinese.

When you get out here and if you've got the time I very highly recommend making a stop at the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood (just outside of Austin on the south western side of it). Trust me, the place is to die for!

cool! Can't wait to read the blog

-The Tuckerbag

Awesome! Your plan reminds me of... my plan. Just full time it first here in Texas then range out as I get used to it. Seems like there's quite a number of us doing this at the same time... or is this normal all year round?

Well, Sue

I am still staying up with your blog. Hope you can work out the house sale soon, because I'm nearly as impatient as you to see you and the crew in your Casita.

Good Luck And Hang In There,

Bob
