Found this and it really has nothing of a description. I thought maybe some of you might recognize the components and be able to let me know if this is a good price. I will be calling them tomorrow for more specifics. I'm probably buying a small Class C there in the next couple of days and I thought that if they had a good enough deal I might go ahead and have this installed before I head out.

Any comments/suggestions?

Thank you all so much ahead of time for taking the time to help.

What Gunny said ^^.
I didn't get to the description of the parts and pieces but....
That's a big chunk of change and add install extra to that.
I'm sure you can do way better and get help installing at rtr too.

Thank you Popeye and Gunny. I won't be going to rtr this year so will have to find a place to set me up a solar system. I will ignore that kit since y'all tell me it's too much. I'm going to owe a lot of cups of coffee or drinks to a lot of you folks before I'm done!

Sternwake may jump in and give an opinion, or know of an installer near you. I've dealt with PPL once having an air conditioner installed and was not impressed.

Thanks Gunny but I will no longer be limited to a place near me!!!! Hip hip hoorayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

This seems to be a fairly standard kit sold by many different places.  A Google search on "Solar Elite 19-8110"  turns up a couple of places selling it, some of which have more info on it.  It includes two 110 watt panels.  That yellow gadget in the picture is a 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter.  I can tell you that you are going to need a fairly big battery bank in order for that to work.  BTW, some of the other places sell it for about the same, but no "order by 01/06/17" nonsense.

All in all, I'm not real impressed with it.

Since you can now go anywhere for solar, check out AM Solar in OR.

They don't just sell parts, they do installs, and have a good reputation for doing it right.  Their DIY instructions are very educational and not overly complicated.
