I don't use it for anything. Everything I have is run from the battery.

Yea. And you can't put anything on it anyway. No continuous loads or something like that. What is it for?!?!

I was using mine to run a fan, but i notice everytime the voltage went too high because the sun came out from behind a cloud it shutoff (overvoltage protection), I got tired of restarting it manually everytime.

You can also use it to charge a second battery, if your house battery is full, the load out will give your second battery all the amps the panel can put out.

I have an LED light that I turn on once it gets dark.  I use the low voltage disconnect to turn off the light as an alarm.
