I am officially apart of the nomadic lifestyle! I picked her up this last weekend and drove her from New Braunfels TX to Lubbock TX (in two nights). Gotta tell you, the 22mph crosswind was a REAL joy! :dodgy:

My new 2005 Coachmen Leprechaun 317ks (premier class C). Has the bedroom I wanted, the overhead bed, a slide out (just one slide since the room is way more open than a double slide), and a Ford e-450 V10. 31.6 feet and just about nothing wrong with her!

Didn't get any pix of the storage compartments or the engine because the wind was so strong and was blowing in a cold front! But the engine is very clean and shiny with MANY new parts. Still need to get a transmission flush and tranny filter replaced, but for now she'll be sittin' pretty.

I will be living in her full time by the end of next week!

More pic HERE!

VERY nice! In the picture up top? Is that some kind of slide out stabilizer? Will you not have to pull the slide out in when the wind gets wild?

Congratulations!!!

Thanks everyone!! This unit is in pristine condition, very few defects. Got it $10,000 under NADA too!!! So excited.

What do you mean? It was pretty heavy winds yesterday (up to 30mph) and it held up just fine. In the picture you have the power pedestal, the slide, the slide's awning and the extender bars.

Land Yacht driver! SWEET!

What kind of mileage? Not that it really matters~~~

After the drive to Lubbock it has about 31,000 miles. For a 2005 that's pretty good!

Congratulations! Looks nice.

If I can offer an opinion, passed on to me by friend who recently sold his mechanics shop and retired: dont get a radiator flush. According to him, it merely blows sediment and possibly metal shavings throughout your entire transmission. This whole transmission flush business is just a way get more money from you. Change fluid and any filter, yes. Flush the whole system? No.

I guess that is what I need to do then, Seraphim! The whole reason I need to do it is because the dip stick began to rust a bit, so I need a new one, and I don't want any of the rust bits in the tranny. Inspector said it wasn't a problem, but I want my basis covered!

Thanks for the info, will greatly be appreciated.

There was a time I did need to have the tranny flushed. I drove my Dodge Ramcharger 4X4 down a flooded forest road and 'sunk' it in a deep hole. The auto tranny got water in it. Took it to a shop to flush it. The old fluid that came out looked like a strawberry milkshake! Shifting was a little hinky for a couple weeks til it coughed the gunk out of the valve body.

NOOOOO, That's AWESOME!!!! I was thinking I have 52K on my 2007 Ford E-150 as good low mileage.
