Sequoia National Forest lately?

hello,
     I was looking at the website for Sequoia National Forest where I planned to go next but it looks like a large area is closed thanks to last years fires.  Anyone know if it's still as closed as it was?  I'm in my planning stage for the next leg of the trip.

I've never been but this looks like the place to check.

If it were me, I'd google the Sequia, NF and find the nearest Ranger Station to the burn area.Get a phone number and call them. They'd be glad to tell you whatever you want to know.
