Hi SternWake
i would love to see your work. Are you coming to Phoenix in January?
:) Maxine

I have developed  this disease where I go insane if I spend more than 24 hours at a distance more than 50 miles from large body of salty water.

Without my salt water intensive therapy sessions applied regularly, I seem to lose the will to live.

So until Arizona grows an ocean, it's unlikely I will be attending inland gatherings

We must make some dust together one day :)

How funny, that is my speciality, (making sawdust), other things like completing a project, I still have a ways to go.
I cut it three times and it is still too short.
Most of my carpentry is of the practical framing construction type. I have worked on wood boats, (lived on one for many years).
I have a Dewalt scroll saw but haven't used it much. I can build things strong, but maybe not so attractive.

Like any other tool the scrollsaws can range in price greatly depending on quality and size. From about $60 to $1,800. It is like fishing equipment. A cheap pole will catch the same fish as an expensive one. One might be a little nicer to use.
