Scavenger Hunt

I saw a book at the hardware store yesterday while waiting for hubby. It was a local author so they had it displayed well. There were scavenger lists for several areas and such. Pond life, Forest life, Tropical waters, Farm land, Desert ETC.......
As I was thumbing through it I started thinking about when my kidos where little we had our own list of I Spy papers to keep them busy. I am thinking of starting those again, grown up type ideas (NO not adult industry) Any way any one else remember those boards along with license plate bingo. 

What would you put on your list for your area? 

I would love to exchange lists as we travel through areas.

Erratics (boulders brought down in the glaciers and deposited), basalt columns, um.....I can't think of anything else. Sagebrush. The different orchards; apple or cherry?
