As I plan on going to the RTR I will have a passenger seat available. My van has sleeping for me only but I will be bringing a cavas wall tent ( civil war style) or your own tent. Not wanting to go out of my way, Departing 1/4/16. I have made the drive in 2 days but I expect 3 days will be better. PS the Wall tent will be set up at the RTR only and will sleep up to 3-4 person.

Nice offer. Where will you be starting from and when do you think you will return

I am located in the Sunnyside, San Francisco Ca. 94112 most likely at the end of the RTR. Family and work call me back.

Wagoneer has been to the RTR and met several people on the forum. He comes with solid references.

Just weighed the van 8650 lbs gross max is 9400 so i figure I got 700 to go so no one over 700 lbs will be invited.. lol

Well...I guess that eliminates my Mother-In-Law!!! :p

:D

My thinking, mother-laws weigh about 100 lbs. Lets find seven he can pick up, entertain, and perhaps leave in the desert when he has to go back. Takers?

Either your a young buck or do not like your inlaws. I suspect we have a few mother in laws reading in and I happen to like mine, what can i say I got lucky. so beware of what you wish for.
On the phunny side I suppose I could stack a few and yours could be on top and could help with the soup and chilly cook outs. (As well as keeping you inline.)

What is the RTR...I think I heard the forum owner mention that in another post.

"Rubber Tramp Rendezvous" held in Quartzsite AZ every January.  At the very top of the page is a link called "Gatherings".  It will tell you all about it.

RTR is the quietest most well behaved party you have ever been to.

You have to make the Chili feed.  Now that is living! :p

RTR is where you'll meet lots of our members, plus other road warriors who never post here. It's not only a fun 2 weeks in the desert, but also a wonderful learning experience. Great bunch of folks.

I'm already here waiting for you to arrive :)
