has any one had rhinoliner installed on floor and rear wheelwells for sound proofing and whatever insulation benefit there might be?

Don't know that it affects sound or insulation much, but it'll keep your paint/sheet metal well-protected.

I built my wife a gorgeous '72 Camaro SS, and lined the floor, the entire trunk, and inside the doors with truck-bed liner.
Yes, to keep out the rust...but it also significantly reduced noise and I'm sure added an insulating quality to it!

Yeah, I'd do this!

Rinoliner and the like are good for low to mid frequency vibration damping (sound deadening), the thicker the better. Not much for very low or high frequency attenuation or insulating value (maybe R-1?) -- Spiff

Almost all road noise would be low frequency, engine noise low to medium. Bearing, fan belt, suspension squeeks, etc are highter frequencies. -- Spiff
