Hi all.  Had to go away for a little bit and start over.  Formerly known as Gypsy P, I am looking for friends who live compassionately, speak gently and act with loving kindness...because I need to keep learning how to do these things myself.  I am interested in non-violent communication, mindfulness, and living joyfully.  I like pina coladas and yoga, but am over getting caught in the rain because I have lived in  the Pacific Northwest for the last 9 years.  If you get that joke, then we are probably in the same age group.

I am also promoting my website which is Epiphany Euphemism Temple.  Although I am ordained and can legally marry and bury people in most states, EE Temple is about humanism, critical thinking skills, and minimalist living.  I can't post links to the site or the YouTube channel because I haven't contributed 10 posts (under this username) yet.  You know how to use Google, right?

Anyway, there are only a couple of videos on there right now, but I will be editing the ones from the previous channel and uploading more shortly.  The first couple of videos are about van dwelling, but those of you who make videos have that covered in a fun and interesting way - as well as the whole reality tv thing by sharing your day to day life and friendships.  I'm going to try something a little different.  Maybe you will find it interesting, maybe you won't. :)

Safe travels and may you find joy in your journey.

Hi!
Same here...looking forward to meeting you some day!
I'd been consciously practicing compassionate communication for a couple years now...simple concept, yet very difficult...especially during these times...or maybe I'm just more aware of the jackal...

Gotta love Marshal Rosenberg! Are you coming to the RTR?

I sat in bed reading, you're NOT into yoga, but have half a brain. ( Where did the other half go?).
Escape.

Ah! Ding ding ding! Wait...did the brain escape?

You're obviously not the Pina colada girl, being into yoga.
Suppose next thing you will try and tell us that you are the cinnamon or brown eyed girl?
BTW, you now owe me a chicken dinner, for being the winner. In Vegas.

Hi there mother,
re "living joyfully, mindful, compassionate, speak gently & act with loving kindness" etc. are natural abilities agreed?

At least these abilities & many more are natural in most children.
In the spirit of the song "I can do Anything", I created a class I taught to abused children, troubled teens, expectant parents, & any adult still willing to continue living the 46+ phenomenal qualities of tiny/preschool children.
They are:
-> Little children are LOVE-sponges...
-> Little children have really a big (not confusing w/ cardiomegaly) heart
-> Little children live from their happy heart.
-> Little children are authentic
-> Little children are innocent
-> Little children live in the moment.
-> Little children live in unbridled Joy (they don't need to find it). Because tiny/preschool children exemplify joy
-> Little children live in constant wonder.
-> Little children are careFree
-> Little children know how to rest.
&
-> Little children have keen powers of observation
-> Little children love to play (learning occurs in pretense)
-> Little children possess unusual imagination.
-> Little children absorb info rapidly (1-try learning)
-> Little children are creative Geniuses.
-> Little children are Insightful
-> Little children are content.
-> Little children are free
-> Little children are fearless, + risk...
-> Little children laugh spontaneously
&
-> Little children like to share
-> Little children are defenseless.
-> Little children are weak,
-> Little children are happy being carried.
-> Little children look to their parents for guidance
-> Little children (unless so burdened), have no shame.
-> Little children are humble.
-> Little children know how to trust.
-> Little children easily talk with God as they remain Open to Him.
-> Little children are happy to be led.
&
-> Little children are good receivers
-> Little children are great responders
-> Little children are very sensitive also to others
-> Little children need simplicity.
-> Little children respond well to the right kind of discipline.
-> Little children show good powers of reasoning
-> Little children are not impressed with titles
-> Little children need to be comforted.
-> Little children forgive easily.
-> Little children have great faith
&
-> Little children have intellectual curiosity
-> Little children can concentrate deeply
-> Little children have Intense interest...
-> Little children have good memory in different contexts
-> Little children are insatiable in asking evermore questions
-> Little children (of positive actions ending in 'ful') are full.

Enjoy... yourself in our Naturally-abundant Pacific Northwest, mother :)
