You guys and Bob are first on my list of people I want to meet at RTR. Would love to meet Patrick too and Compassrose and lots of others too. Free nail trims for everyone's pups too. Enough goofing off, I'm going to get to work. Can't wait to post pics of the finished product.

I hope we can entice Patrick to come out for RTR this year.
We missed meeting him when we were in Coos Bay and I've been kicking myself ever since. Worst part is that several times he drove within 200' of where we were parked and could see our rig if he looked toward the bay...but he had no idea it was us.

Last RTR we visited the camp, but this time we'll be there for the whole time.
We hope to have some knowledge to share, as well as learn new things from other folks experiences.
We met some cool people, and missed meeting some since we didn't stay long enough. We plan to make up for that on the next trip to Q.

Get a Poodle Patrick, they have hair not fur and no they are not foo foo dogs. I'll paint your nails if you want, the cutting is up to you.

jeez deco that's ugly. no disrespect meant, just that you got your work cut out. Patrick I know what you mean about the heat gun making matters worse. guess I should have explained a little better. you should only use enough heat to loosen the glue and make the sticker pliable. to much heat will make a mess of things. that's kinda why I said you could try a hair dryer, less chance of overheating but maybe not enough heat. highdesertranger

I got the black tape off and made a dent in peeling off the lettering today. I still have the word TRUCK left to peel and my pretty nails are paying the price. I don't have the funds for the adhesive remover yet but I did try a bit of WD40 and scraped half of one half circle off. Only 17 1/2 of the darned things left. Even in a fairly shady spot, you can only spend so much time on a ladder scraping and peeling before you need a break. Makes me feel not so young anymore.

Ladders are no fun. You end up with bird feet at the end of the day :D

Easy on that WD-40. Any oil you put on you have to take off for the new paint to stick ;)

Glad you're making headway.

It does work better if you're working in the sun, as it helps loosen up the glues.

do ya happen to have any pictures of it when it was covered with the poka-dots?? I'd like to see that!
