For those who want a tiny & effective shore power heater with a built-in thermostat, this is the model that I found to be the smallest:

For those who want a tiny electric heater for those occasional times where one has shore power, this is it!

Late winter/early spring is the best time of year to be shopping for electric heaters. Much like late summer/early fall is the best time to be shopping for an air conditioner.

The smallest heaters that I know of are the Lasko 200w. There is also a 400w that plugs right onto the outlet. Next up would be a ceramic cube and those run up to 1500w.

Not just electric heaters are on sale.  My local Walmart had a stack of Mr. Heater Buddy 4,000-9,000-BTU Indoor-Safe Portable Radiant Heaters on sale for $64.

I was in a hurry and did not get one.  When I went back a few days later they were all gone.

Just ordered 2 of the electric heaters I linked to, color Red; would have bought 3 or more if I had more money for it. The Lasko 200w heater is a foot warmer, the one I linked is a room heater. It's small enough to stow away, has a built-in thermostat, and even has fan-only mode. This heater can heat and maintain temperature in the largest and most poorly insulated vans.

I was in a hurry and did not get one.  When I went back a few days later they were all gone. If this deal is seen again, don't let it get away (provided one have money to buy right then and there).
Advise those in the market for a heater to watch for them on sales in hardware stores, big box stores, and physical stores. That is where they're sometimes marked for clearance. The best end-of-season discounts I've seen are at TARGET (50% off) and Craigslist (even better deals/steals there, with a larger time-window than TARGET). Last year at a Reno HOME DEPOT post-BRC, I scored 2 stand misters at 70% off; so look out for little seasonal things put on clearance at physical stores end-of-season. The same deal with bedding and clothing, if you think you can use a new jacket or heavy blanket February is the best time to shop!

amazon has one on there for 59.99. but it's a refurb with a 90 day warranty. I shy away from refurb stuff you never know what your gonna get
