I have not worked at all yesterday or today, it was nice! My home on wheels runs smoothly. I know for sure it's the ignition switch now; but until I have the funds I can get out and press the button when the car does not want to start with the turn of the key. But everything for once has been smooth, no fix something then get slapped with another problem. It was nice to do nothing, but relax!

Yesterday, woke up after a very long medicated sleep. A bit snuffy, but 200% better then the day before. I went to the gym and had a brisk run to the movie,"I am number 4". Pretty good movie, it was interesting. I went to the locker/bathroom. Did the every so odd shave in front of everyone. I can't tell if there staring because I'm shaving in the gym or odd that I shave with a brush and an old fashion safety razor... None the less, feels good to be smooth. I then jumped in the shower and went about my day. Mostly involved sitting by the lake reading this forum and a blog about a girl living in her Jetta. I stayed for the sunset and then went back to a WalMart for sleep.

Today, well same thing. Woke up and had a nice run at the gym, the movie was not very interesting so I only did 30 mins on this really odd machine. Really works your butt, would be nice to loose some fat there. I then took a shower and went the local Best Buy. Finally got a car charger for my iPhone, it has an extra USB port if/when I get another device. It works great, charges really fast. Then I went to the bank and deposited some cash, so I can pay some bills. That are behind... Really I will still be behind. But I am trying. I then decided to skip Orlando all together for the afternoon, headed north. Not far to burn to much gas, but far enough from the city. That I can get away from the drunks/party, I hope. Now I am sitting by a nice lake enjoying a coffee and a cigar watching the fireworks, it's New Years Ever, after all. I can have a treat, I think I deserve it.

Now tommorow, I hope I get a call for work... But after two days in a row of car troubles and not completing the shifts. I am not holding my breath. But I hope to work, as I feel tommorow will be good
money. If not I may look into selling plasma, but I am unsure about that.

I can see this lifestyle being very fun and relaxing, providing your finically stable. But I can quickly see it would require much less money then an apartment or house to be happy.

Happy New Years,
Niall

I agree completely, it takes a LOT less money to live this way Glad things are looking up a little for you! hope you have a fabulous new years eve!

With Love,
Tara

Got work tommorow from 5:00-9:00, was hopping 11:00-5:00. But better then nothing, hope it's problem free... I am also doing my first night, not parked at a Wal Mart. The Wal Mart I had my eye on, the lot is full of carts... Even 45 mins later they still did not move then. So I gave up, did not want to risk the chance of being caught. So I drove bit more out to the country and found a dead end street off a really nice string of houses. Crash here for the night, it's just a random paved road with nothing but trees around and the full moon above. With a for sale sighn up front of the lot.

But I may try to sale some plasma before work tomorow. See how that goes... But I keep telling my self not to, just base on the fact my diet currently is not the greatest.

I've stayed at Walmarts, and don't enjoy them. The best way to avoid getting caught is to just to stop in at the customer service counter and ask, I always do, and they always say yes. Sometimes they say, would you mind moving to the employee area, and they show me where all the employees park.

Since you are in a Corolla, you can park anywhere that's legal and get away with it I bet. The only thing would be, I wouldn't park and stay parked (and never move) for a whole week for instance.

When I was in my Minivan, I was like uber stealth, I parked anywhere I wanted that was near other cars, and never ever ever had any problems at all.

In my monster van here, I've never had any big problems, had 1 cop check me out briefly, but that was in a town the size of 100 people in the middle of Montana, so I'm sure EVERY new vehicle stands out like a sore thumb there. He was super nice, he looked at me, and then wandered off, he talked some, but I'm deaf and he didn't make any effort to communicate with me, I'm guessing he just wanted to make sure I was alive. (it was a particularly cold night).

Anyways, my rules of city camping is, park on the street, near where other vehicles park, bonus if they happen to be of the same vintage as mine. I.e. I try not to park next to 10 BMW's all in a row or something like that. I just try to fit in with the landscape, the more I fit in, the less anyone even notices.

When I was first starting out, I would park for the night, and then take a walk around the block, and see how my vehicle fit in with everything around it, and thought about what little things can I do that will make it fit in more?

Wishing you lots of success! I never did the plasma thing, when I was dirt poor homeless, they didn't have anything like that back then that I knew about. So I have no experience.

With Love,
Tara

The lack of a trespassing sign is irrelevant. If you're discovered not to be a customer of the business, you can be charged with trespassing whether there's a sign or not. Anytime you're on property belonging to others you are risking the possibility - no matter how slight - of a criminal summons.

Just wanted that cleared up.
