Is it a 3 way fridge? When running on propane for a 3 way you need to be VERY level.

For reliability sake and ease of use you can't beat the 12v danfoss compressor based fridges. They are also very low power consumption.

Everybody says that... my 3 way 'fridge is 17 years old, I've never serviced it, doubt the previous owners did either. It always lights fine, it always works, I park wherever I want, usually deliberately slightly uphill (so my head is higher when sleeping), never do anything special to keep level. The 'fridge is always cold and the freezer always keeps ice frozen. And I don't even run it at night, I just shut it off when I go to bed and fire it up in the morning.

*shrug*

I do still want to replace it with a 12v compressor 'fridge sometime down the line.

I think only the older pre 80's need perfect level to operate the one in my 62 airstream was very fussy.
