Recommend Magnets

Looking for recommendations for magnets to hold our bug screens on our doors and windows and other miscellaneous useful things.

Bob mentioned some in a video once and I can’t find the video or links

Bob likes ceramic magnets (the ones that are usually black). I like Bob but I prefer neodymium magnets (the ones that are usually silver) because they're more powerful for their size. That's why they cost more. But in the end it's probably less about which kind of magnets and more about having enough to do the job.

I looked into SNADS as fasteners for screens inside my rig. You can see demos by Sailrite on their application. I purchased the SNADS from Organized Obie along with their very cool net storage. You can also attach window coverings with SNADS.

As for screens for my tow vehicle's windows, I ordered from The Skeeter Beaters. The magnets come sewn into the screens. They work great as evidenced by the mosquito parade outside of my Jeep.

I bought a few packs of these, a few years ago. I've driven cross country with some stuck to the outside of my van. They're so strong they're kind of a PITA. I use them to hold my screens, reflectix, privacy curtains, the list goes on

^^^ Those look exactly like the ones I use to hold window screens to the outside of my vehicle.

I second the neodymium magnets and use them to hold screen fabric over my doors and windows in my van. I bought mine at Home Depot. You can get them from Amazon also. I like them so much that I'm planning on buying some more powerful ones from Amazon that have a bolt running through the center. Plan to place them on my roof and use them as anchor points for a home made canopy. Very ghetto, but should work out great and simple install...
