rear bed in wide body van for tall guy

Howdy, I am a new member and have had lots of rvs and have lived aboard full time lots also. My wife and I are wanting to stop towing and buy a B plus size van. I am in a small town and do not have access to many of these to look at. I am wanting to sleep cross-ways in the rear of a B Plus camper van conversion. I would appreciate it if some of you could help me.
1. Which van conversion manufacturers make a B Plus van?
2. Which B Plus vans have a rear bed or dinette that can be made into a bed so a tall person can sleep cross-ways?
3. Do most or all of the B Plus vans have the 78 or 80 inches across the rear so a big guy can sleep well?

I'm not sure of the measurements, but have you looked at the Sprinter based units?? Pleasure Way makes some nice wide bodies also.
You might find a class C would suit your needs, as well.

you say you're a tall fella...well, how tall??? (since this is the issue at hand.)

I'm 6'2", and I CANNOT sleep across the back width of any van I've ever owned. (and I think I've owned just about every domestic one of 'em too.)
A class 'B' is only a regular camper van that it has a fiberglass 'topper' on it, making for better headroom.

what do you have in mind for a budget too?? This can either seriously limit what you can get, or open the doors to many more choices.
The Sprinter conversions are very nice, quite roomy and super fuel efficient...but you've gotta be pretty financially 'comfortable' to even consider onna those guys.

I was really meaning the B+ van conversions. I understand that to mean there is a fiberglass (usually) rear end that is several inches wider than the original van sides. Sprinters are out of the equation. Michael
