I just got changed from "member" to "posting freak" and earned(?) an extra star. I also finally noticed something about ratings and reputations. What's that all about? Where is the LIKE buttom? I'm not seeing it on my tablet.

I don't think we have a like button, but the rest of it is voodoo magic based on your activity on the forum. I can try to get lots of details about it if you want, but I'm on my iPad at the moment, not the easiest way to dig into all those details.

You can give them rep for a specific post, sorta like a personal like I can't do it on my phone but i did it somehow on my laptop

Dazar has it. 'Reputation' is this software's version of 'like'. You can rep someone for a specific post, and others can see a link to it if they click someone's 'reputation'.

Stars are linked, I believe, to post count or forum activity. The title beneath the name changes with post count, but you can change it to anything you want in your account settings.

I looked on my tablet, to 'like' a post click the + button next to the find button on a post in web version.

Me: I don't have a + button on my Nook. Bummer. Lots of things I can't do on my Nook that a regular tablet can do. Can't comment on Youtube videos, either. I'll have to wait until the house is in less of a muddle and I can get at my laptop. Right now, there's a huge stack of items sorted for the garage sale in front of my closet. Not just our stuff, but son and DIL have brought their excess clutter over, too.

Yeah, i have to use my tablet with firefox to see it, not tapatalk. It is an icon of a person with a plus sign on left under their post.
