uh... I doubt it. I got one of those stormcats from Harbor Freight, its loud as hell, even if you put sound deadening materials around it (heck you could buy foam rubber flooring from harbor freight for like 11.00 a set that I think would do it best) there still needs to be an air intake and big exaust, not to mention all that vibration reflecting back at the generator could be really bad and cause a breakdown... I think the best way would be to put that sound deadening material in a box like a C with the open end facing away from the van, but yeah its still gonna be loud as hell.

I personally am just keeping a very long extention cord and will only use it for camping when I dont have shore to plug into, I'll then use heavy (bolt cutter proof) chain to chain it to a far away tree or post...

I cant watch the vid right now, (really crappy 10 yr old work computer) but... if he does not have an exaust or intake... that is how he has quieted it down, the problem being without air or exaust it would use up the air around it very quickly then die.

btw I forgot what its called but there is this super spongey type rubber foam they use on military submarines, from what I remember its the most sound dampening material we have, and if I remember right it wasnt too expensive... maybe thats a way to go?
