I know that during the day you can see out but others can't see in. Is that the case at night? EI, I'm in a lit WM parking lot at night and people have parked near me moving around outside my vehicle waking me up. I want to see what's going on from inside my dark van. What if the area is not lit?
TIA

It's like looking through a screen door. You can see from the dark side to the light side. During the day that means you can see from the inside to the outside. At night that means you can see from the outside to the lighted inside. But if you don't have lights on at night, and there are lights outside, then you can see out and they can't see in.

If amount of light coming into the windows. It is not a true blackout curtain. From a distance they won't be able to see in but from several inches away they can. The same thing is true for daylight hours if thry walk up close to the windows they will be able to see inside the van. I have tested this myself on vehicles that have perforated vinyl over the glass.
