Propane heater headache

Wow, how did I miss this! I tried the buddy heater and got a terrible headache, I have a roof vent and multiple low level vents that are four times the required vents for the little buddy heater. I tried low and hi, CO2 alarm, you name it. I just kept getting headaches. I gave up and bought an eberspacher bunk heater, it used a heat exchanger, all combustion fumes are externally exhausted. No smell, no issues, works perfect and far more efficient than propane. They are pricey, but I bought a used one off ebay, so far so good. The installation was a bother, but the end result seems much better. Who knows, guess I am one of the unlucky ones that gets headaches from the smell of propane burning...

I am following up on my previous post, I owe the little buddy heater an apology. Like all things I own that don't do what i expected, I bought it back to lowes (where I bought it). Luckily the manager was working the return counter, she said that there was an issue with a bunch of the buddy heaters not burning correctly. So rather than return it, she exchanged it for a new one. This little guy works perfectly with no headaches. I have run 40 pounds of propane thought it already (kept me warm while working on my truck). So now I am happy with it!
