I'd love to some interior pics of your setup.

Hoping this will become a mega thread. :D

10 ft 1972 Shasta Compact and toyota 4runner. Was just told by my mechanic to quit towing with it until I take it in to a dealership to have the frame checked. Said it looked pretty bad.:(

Dragonfly, that's a cool little rig. Galley sure has a lot of storage.
Oooo...coookies. Me luvs coookies :D

I will may make it out of Ohio one day and if ever we meet, I will bake you cookies or maybe even a hot milk cake. I love to bake out of the little oven. A bit of a challenge but I have most dishes figured out now, takes some modification of temps and dishware. I think I will take the furnace out if it ever warms up here, don't plan on staying where its that cold.

Don't think I've had a hot milk cake, but do like new goodies tho.
Come on down where its warmer before you ditch the heater....I hear it gets pretty cold in Ohio.

Here's Yatri!

You did a fantastic job on Yatri, Greybeard. I sure wish I could sleep across the van width, but at 6'2" I either have to fold my legs or sleep diagonally.... maybe I'll shrink as I get older!

Thanks, I am only 5' 10", so with the bed 4 feet wide and six feet long I can easily stretch out.

that looks like a very skookum go everywhere truck, great for the back country, nice

Thx. Had the opportunity to be out a lot last year, two three weeks at a time. More serious about work lately so it's back to trying to find the time to get away.

Old school IDI diesel E350 4x4. Looking for a pop top to add next. Can't seem to find one in Florida.

Looks great. I would love to get a step van, I just cannot justify the price most people want for them. I also do not know much about diesels, though there are a handful of these bread trucks with small block chevys.

Deleted your oops post, FK. :)
In order to have pics instead of thumbnails, they have to be hosted somewhere off site, like Photobucket.
Please make sure the pic files are not huge, as that blows out the forum.

PS. That port a pot box is brilliant!

thanks Mac this one has 292 ci six cylinder gaz engine, wish it had a diesel though but no intention of replacing it unless it blows up.

appreciate that Unchained, I am not sure how I screwed that up, the front seat that flips up is a great feature on these things it seemed like the natural place for it, and you drop the blinds, shut the door to the cabin and have your privacy, but the real coup d'état that I think I did on this van was my extractor fan,
DSCN1199 (640x480).jpg
two pieces of thrown out eavesthrought back to back a section of down pipe cut and hinged with a 12 volt computer fan and switch, and it works,:)

Flying K.... Really like the way you made those cubby/ shelves. Think I must shamelessly copy that plan! My woodwork skills fall way short of building draws!
