I average six nights a week sleeping in the van. It's parked in Dad's driveway most of the time but goes out for camping trips. Now that the weather is warming up, it's going to go out a lot more often. Sleeping in it for most of a year has allowed for a lot of tweaks to make things more comfortable and functional.

Depends on your definition of "full time". Do I pay mortgage or rent? No. Do I frequently park on friends property, use their facilities? Yes.

Otherwise I've been living on the road since the Summer 2013 RTR in Flagstaff, mostly sleeping at WalMart or truckstops (Flying J and TA, mostly), and paying for showers, laundry.

Met Bob at the RTR that year and he asked, "Full timer?" . As it was my first time out, I didn't know how to answer.

100% full time. It's me, my adult son and my 130# Mastiff in a 24' TT. Just sold my 28' MH, too big! lol I'd have a major anxiety attack if I had to go back to living in a house attached to the ground. Yikes!!! Previous to the MH, I lived in my broken down extended cab truck in Palm Springs, CA, in the summer. I was by myself then, but even that was preferable to living in a house, though I'll admit using friend's showers and pool was nice. Allowed me to save up to buy the MH, and move away from the hot.

I full-timed in a VW bus way back in the '70s and early '80s. Again in '02-'03 in an old Dodge Maxivan. Hit the road in '06-'07 in an '85 Falcon Class-B but then was sidelined with medical problems until this year. Last year I really wanted to do Alaska on a motorcycle but my bad back put the kibosh on that.
This year I gave up my apartment and hit the road on 6/1 in my standard '91 Dodge van and am currently enjoying the Taos area. I always thought that I'd have to have a hightop because of my bad back but now I spend as much time as I can in libraries, exploring, riding my trail bike, etc. so the regular top van is OK. I'd like to add a small TT and head to Quartzsite in November.

Except when sponging off relatives, am living in the van 100% of the time. :)

Full-time since March. The few times I slept in a house since then, I've always regretted. No place like home, sweet van.
