I'm still in the planning stages, but my base vehicle is a 1997 E350 cargo van 7.3 diesel with 61k miles.

1988 Intervec Ford Falcon 190. I'm not full-time yet, but I'm getting closer. Mine is very similar to your 1995, Seraphim. How do I find out how many gallons the internal water tank holds?

I think ours held about 10 gallons. Try to search online.

Just looked up what you have. Very impressive. All the bells and whistles? I would have loved to have had the electric jack stands-or whatever you call them.
Went on a couple of trips out west when the kids were little with a used camper on an old 3 speed manual dodge truck. We had wonderful times and it was easy to handle.
I would consider something like that again.
We are all in various stages of "conversion" I guess.
I am heartened that there are many like me who are just starting out. I enjoy reading your updates and seeing what you've done so far.

My own vehicle/home is a white 1995 Ford Econoline e350 with the seats taken out. Black curtains cover the whole area with tinted windows. So very private and secure. Lived in it for 4 months last year. But I relied on outside toilets for my needs and showers.

I just have a closet in there, a portable toilet (never used... for emergencies only) and a futon bed with frame.

And crates... a dozen crates filled with canned goods, clothes, kitchen stuff, etc.

No refrigeration, kitchen and no shower.

That's probably going to be in the next evolution when I get something I can actually stand straight up in.

The van is a retired tv broadcast live vehicle: 2000 Ford e250 w 4.2l. I pulled the 40' pneumatic mast and sold it for scrap. I kept the onan genset and one of the three racks. The remaining rack is filled with metal drawers, power distribution and locking cabinets. I built a wood platform bed and am working out the rest.

It has more room than our van did, so we can both move around without bumping in to each other, and it's nice to be able to ground it and leave it somewhere, if we need to. Not stealthy, but it has advantages that are nice at our age. I'd recommend it.

Easy enough to find old ones worth rebuilding, as well.

We got more 'bells and whistles' than we really wanted, but it was hard not to. The electric jacks are nice.

How's the trailer coming along?
