I thought NPR was national public radio. Only the last photo is in our nation & who knows when it was taken? The 1st pic is logs floating down a river probably to a sawmill downstream which was very common years ago here in the U.S. & IMHO much better than hauling them on diesel trucks. So what's the problem & how can we in the U.S, fix these things all over the world?

Let's stop the Wars, Hunger, Human Trafficking, Child Labor, etc, etc. I believe the common people of most of the earth could get along, lt's the Government's, Big Business & Politicians that keep the Trouble Pot stirred for their own benefit & gain.
