Parking East of the Mississippi

A few years back I did some van dwelling from Tennessee to the east coast.<br />I didn't find many good parking stops. If you have had good experiences between Nashville and the east coast please share them.<br /><br />Van Girl

1) &nbsp;Commuter lots if you take only one space, and its just overnight<br />2) &nbsp;Trucker sleep area on the interstates<br /><br />These are guesses be me, and would like to know of experience with the trucker rest areas. &nbsp;If you have a car, can you sleep in it in a trucker rest area?
