Ok....... Turns out god had plans for us. If you read my post about getting screwed on that last rv you'll understand. We however found a decent running, 37', 89 fleetwood. Decent shape, ready for us to remodel, (it's pretty much gutted:) ). We bought it up here, and heresy the issue...... It needs tires. The tread is perfect, the sidewalks are cracked. Cost for 6 new ones, 1300. Used, 600. Can't afford that. Heresy where the okie comes in..... We are just going to drive the 508 miles to our semi permanent home in san. Diego and hope for the best. I will get one extra spare just in case, but what are the odds that I'll lose all 6 tires? And I can't justify putting new rubber or even used rubber on something I won't be driving hardly at all. It's a risk, I know, but I will take it super slow, and pray, A LOT!
Like I said, one way, 508 miles, then parked. Wish us luck. Woody.

you will do just fine as you said keep it slow save your $ watch for sales and go to junkyards

been there on the tire worries, but never in a big heavy vehicle, but when you are broke a used tire is always very expensive!<br>you will be fine, you have a plan!
