I'm not exactly sure what wagoneer means by we can do this.....but in some ways he's not kidding....
I was actually working with some cover bands during the 80s when Madonna was one of the biggest hit makers.
Her studio engineers were monster scary good in the vocal effects department!!!!!
I owe them a lot. I spent many many hours dissecting her hits trying to figure out how they got her voice to sound the way it did.
After this I developed the ability to hear what they were doing in reference to which effects(usually several at once) and what settings were being used.
In "effect" turning myself into one of those monster scary guys too.
So , what I'm saying is while I don't have the ability to make anyone look like she does.
I can make anyone that can hit all the right notes sound exactly like her!!
(This also applies to any vocalist that uses these "vocal enhancing effects"
meaning almost everybody.)
I did say almost , there are actually some vocalists that just sound incredible , OK with maybe a smidge of reverb.......
