I don't like NJ and NY as they have the highest states/local tax burden in the country. According to the tax foundation you work Jan 1st thru May 1st each year just to pay your federal, state and local tax burdens if you live in NJ. For comparison you work to April 4th in SD. Almost a whole month less working for the man!

i'm a NJ piney. i love south jersey. my national coverage health insurance is half what it is in florida. state income tax is very low for most of us.
