Hi! Glad to have found this. Name is Don. 64 years of age. Drive a 1983 19' Mobile Traveler. I have a home in the redwoods near Willits, CA (Mendocino County) and am on the road 4-6 months of the year. Usually head south around Nov. Favorite spots are Tecopa Hot Springs, Slab City (a must), Quartzsite, Holtville Highline Hot Springs, Anza Borrego.

Definetely plan on RTR !

Hi Marcos. Welcome to the discussion board. I've never been to Slab City but I've been cogitating on it a while. Heard good things about it from folks who've been there. Might say hi to you if we get out that way at the same time. Meanwhile, hi now, anyway.

Hi Marcos....wow, I love Mobile Travelers. Nice rig! Will see you at RTR, would love meet you and check your rig out...
Bri

Welcome to the group! Nice house you got there wish I could find something that clean.

Hey, that's a really nice looking RV! Hope I'm able to find something that nice!

Welcome & that's a sweet ride you got there!

My childhood best friend has one. We used to ride that thing all over the place when we were kids. I can't tell you how many times we got pulled over and sent home. He still has it and restored it with the help of his son recently. They're real hard to come by and expensive now a days. Good on you for finding one in such great shape.

Thanks for all the compliments! Looked for a year and a half for just the right one. Here's a pic of my 1974 Honda "go to town". Don't like moving after I'm set up so it comes in handy. Street legal too !

That will come in handy! I was considering a moped or something... Trying to figure out transport for the dog and groceries, though.

The Honda CT110's are easier to find (not by much tho) but are cheaper and a bit larger. Bri has a pic of the one he owns with his dog (Dina) riding in a basket in back.

Those are pretty cute. I still think I'm probably going to be better off with a small car, though. Whether or not the title for the one I already have, ever comes through so I can trade it in, is a different story!
