Nobody would believe me if I didn't take a picture

Have you ever seen something in your travels that you had to do a double or triple take?  Road signs, signs in stores, vehicles?  I have a few pictures that I have been dying to share.  The first one is something I saw at an Asian Market in Springfield MO.  This has the ICK factor.

I was on the road heading into Bolivar MO, when I saw this old car tailgating a Dodge Van.  Upon closer inspection~~~

I stopped into a Arkansas Supermarket to get something to drink.  Immagine my surprise when I saw Isle 13.

3.99 a pound for pork ears?!?! HIGHWAY ROBERY!

Unwrapped chicken in a open air cooler. No thanks~~~

My thought is that the "classic" was front end wrecked. I looked closely at it, and it is a factory tow hitch that was welded in place. He uses that for scrapping metal, believe it or not! I have seen it several times.

Even my Dad wouldn't eat chitlins, and he grew up poor in the Depession, eating stuff I call 'chum'....... ;-)
When his family butchered a pig, they used "everything but the squeal!"

What did they do with the chitlins left after the sausage stuffing? I remember playing kick ball with a blown up pig bladder. Just knot the three tubes, like a balloon with 3 ends.

The wildest bumper stickers I've ever seen were "your father should have pulled out sooner" and "I love cats, they taste just like chicken". I remember being amazed on my first trip to New York City. Not the buildings or the masses of people but the signs. "Please do not pee on the walls" and "Don't even think of parking here" are two that come to mind.

Ever wonder where those political promises come from?

How about what is at the end of a rainbow?
