Howdy yall !

Sorry but I could not resist,

I am in Amarillo, Texas currently and looking forward to retiring in a six short months. I am looking for a good used 1/2 or 3/4 ton pick up and plan on getting a Casita trailer. I have 6 kids and 17 grandchildren whom I adore. I have been looking forward to doing some camping and spending time outdoors. As long as I check in with my wife once in a while I think I will be okay, Ha! we'll just have to play that one by ear. I have been following Bob for a while now and getting itchy feet. I have spent my whole life with my nose to the grindstone and looking to finally live my dream. We plan to sell our house and move in with my son who has a huge house in Dallas. We have been downsizing for several years now and this next move we should be down to very little. I have had a very interesting life and acquired many skills over the years. Looking forward to some future meet ups.

Welcome and it will be good to meet you and your wife, if she comes with.  Make sure you put the Quartzsite Yearly (Jan) Rubber Tramp Rendezvous on your schedule.  You will see more on this and it's a great way to meet some of the wonderful people you read about.  You will be welcomed, I am sure.
