I'm a Chevy and Mopar lover anyway.

V.T.

I use to drive an F150 as a company truck, never had a problem fueling up. But I don't understand the need for the change.

My husband wants to know who pays for the broken fuel pump nozzle? Obviously if they drove off it wasn't them, but if part of it is in their gas tank, does that mean the nozzle is broken? I'd never heard of this so thanks for posting about it.

After some searching, it looks like one of the reason they are changing over is to prevent siphoning of gas. Apparently the only nozzle that will fit into the special spring-loaded flapper door is a standard nozzle????? So you can't accidently put diesel fuel in your non-diesel car or truck. WTH??? Was any of that really such a problem? Also, and probably farther up the reason list is that apparently lots of people lose their caps and then don't replace them and every moment the cap is off nasty things happen to the environment.. oooookaaaayyyyy. Another plus (or minus for the average person) is that if you need to put a couple of gallons of gas in your tank with a gas can, the nozzle won't fit and you have to use a special funnel that they provide with your emergency roadside kit...LOLOL

Let's not even think about how this will affect us in a zombie apocalypse when we are looking for fuel for our MH or vans...

Think I'll stay away from any vehicles with this wonderful feature.
