New vanlifer in memphis

Hi everyone, I'm posting here per Bob's suggestion because I really need some help. I've almost completed my build, all but hooking up all the electrical. I have soooo many questions and I'm terrified of it all. I have solar panels, charge controller, battery isolator, batteries, an inverter all to install yet. I'm sure I can do it myself if I just had an advisor. Please please please, does anyone know anyone near memphis who can help me? I've pretty much run out of money for the build but I think I have most everything. Even someone I can talk to on the phone would be great. Mostly need wire guage, fuse, and shunt info. Thanks so much! I hope to meet a bunch of you out there. Kristal

research your kind of solar install on youtube. Find who seems trustworthy and knowledgeable, contact them, and offer to hire them as a consultant over the phone. With facetime like phone apps, you can show them what you're dealing with and get advise. Also find out who in your area does solar home or van installs and get their location. Show up early in the morning when the install techs are leaving for the job sites and approach them in the parking lot. The technology fundamentals are the same.

Hey Kristal, Wish I was closer to you, I would be glad to help, I with you though, my knowledge of the electrical is not very wide either, the basics I can get done, know what goes with what and why thats another story..
