Hi Everyone,
My name is Shari, and I'm very new to this Van life. I have just finished my Van build on my own,  which isn't bad if I do say so myself, especially with No carpentry experience. It's functional, very well insulated, practical.
My 1st adventure is to head to Ehrenberg,AZ. the 1st of Nov and meet & find some like minded people/friends. I have been following Bob Wells on his YouTube videos for quite a while. I'm hoping to share & gain more insight on how to Boondock and live the best I can in my Van.

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forum  :)

Sounds like you are ready to travel, so let me offer you to view the bottom link below.  You may find it quite helpful
as you plan your trip out to AZ.  It has a huge portal of links (new links come all the time)  that will make your travels easier, safer, and more comfortable.

All the best in your planning and travels.

Welcome to the forum the more the merrier. What part of the country are you from I’m in Pennsylvania near Hershey and so I’m about ready to go south as it gets cooler here. I say welcome to every new person I can and I hate to repeat the same things but just have a great time and stick to this for him and Bob‘s videos and you’ll learn what you need to know. Lots of nice folks to help here. I could help but I’m not nice;-). If you want to let us know more about your rig year make model etc. God bless the nomads everyone.

If you visit the bottom link and go to the links portal,  at the top right is the "Travel Planning at home or on the road" section.  In that section there is a link:  ~ Free Campsites net ~   At the top of that page is a button..."Trip  Planner".   A small box will pop up asking your location and where you are wanting to go.  At the bottom of that box are three buttons,  "Add a Stop", "Options", and "Plan a Trip".     There are other Filters too and you can play around with this.   Tripomatic at the top of the column is similar and uses the Google map system where you can actually see your route virtually in "street view".  You may try this in different browsers on your computer too.
