I am new to this....... but as usual, I dove into the deep end, head first.  So i bought a Fleetwood Revolution 38' and have been having modifications and improvements done for the last 3 weeks. So now it has a motorcycle carrier mounted on the back and a tow hitch so I can tow my car and motorcycle  at the same time and I am leaving FL in 2 days to go to Vegas for the holidays, to see my family.

So, I plan to drive from Delray Beach FL to Vegas, then LA, San Fram, Wash and then back east to NY.

I was actually looking for a ride along buddy, so that Its not just me and Roxie (my 5 year old German Shepherd)  and I stumbled on this site.......

OK, so thats my first post to a blog anywhere........... so if you have any suggestions or ides or just want to blab OR if you want to baby step it and ride with me, you can email me.

Welcome Mark :) Nice Rv. You are traveling in style. Where is the pic of your baby? I love GSD's.

Welcome to the forum! :) That sure is a big RV.
Just curious, who/what did you photoshop out of the picture of you?

Mark, welcome to the CRVL forums! Looks like a great rig.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

Hello and welcome from Ohio! And SSW is right -- where are pictures of your beautiful baby?

Nice coach. My wife and I looked at one of those and it's down to that or the Monaco Knight...

Welcome Mark!

I have to say I think the bravest thing you are doing is not jumping in and buying a huge RV to take off in... many of us on the forum have done that (well, minus the huge RV part.. LOL).

But looking for someone to ride along out of the blue? Whew! I "might" do that to give someone a ride to the next town, but for an unspecified time? Someone you may realize is driving you crazy (in a bad way) three hours into the trip?

You must be the most outgoing person I've heard of.. or the biggest gambler. LOL.

You really must keep us posted on this! And, we like some details like.. where do you plan to camp --- RV parks, boondocks, Walmart lots (you would not be the only 38-footer in many WM lots)?

Welcome!... Enjoy your trip....

IMHO - diving in is the best way to do it....otherwise we may talk ourselves out of the best things in life...
