Okay, so recently I expressed that I needed to stay on T-Mobile through my travels, which generally is not a good idea, for T-Mobile has horrible coverage. But seeing as how I need it for work (the speeds it provides), I've been moping around about it.

However, T-Mobile just bought a huge A-Block of Verizon's old 700Mhz frequency towers, which is in an article here:

http://www.tmonews.com/2014/04/t-mobile-closes-700mhz-a-block-deal-announces-plans-for-expansion/

This covers a lot of rural areas (albeit not a lot of the "vandwelling favorites"), but does cover most of Colorado, which is where I will be staying a lot of the time (love the high elevation!)

Anyone else excited for this expansion? Here is a map of the new coverage areas (kinda small):

not many areas where I go. better than it used to be, still lacking though. but if it works for you, great. highdesertranger

This is just what they just bought--this is not including their current map. In some areas it will be improved, but then you will have other areas just added. Many rural areas being included now, so you can camp and get Tmobile in certain areas.

Not me. Likes it back east, but the best I have gotten on t mobile is 2g since west texas. I am leaving for Verizon as soon as my contract is up.

Where ya at in Texas? I'm in Lubbock and get flawless coverage.
