Hi, we are Gary & Brenda we are looking to start a new chapter in our lives,Gary had a heart attack followed by a stroke six months later, Gary is 2 yrs post stroke and doing so much better. Through this we lost our home and moved to Maine where we were going to get help from family, Ooops! that didn't workout the way we thought. So we need to move on from where we are in Maine. We have decided that we want to try and buy a van that we can live in and travel. We have a very limited fund to make the move we have Around $2500 
Any help will be welcome

Welcome to the CRVL forums Gary and Brenda! 2500 is probably not enough to get you on the road safely. Do you have any options to stay put for a while to save money? Can you tent camp for a few months? Check the free spots on freecampsites. Welcome to the CRVL Forums  

Although I cannot help financially,  I have a couple of websites below that were designed to help anyone enter the Van life.  One is to set up a low bucks Van to get starteid in and the other is for finding your way in an affordable manner once you go on the road.  These could take a lot of the initial expense out of starting up. (an expensive time when a lot of costly mistakes are made)
