New today myself. Welcome!
As I've posted, I did my stint out of choice but I reckon two years is enough to figure out what it takes to make it a lifestyle choice.
There's a lot of fun in building up the necessary kit, and changes occurred during the two years. Going to a garage sale is given an extra dimension - I like this bowl, but maybe it's a bit big
.
In these days of uncertainty (Ha! Have they ever been certain?), I'd advise anyone to build up a car rig, just in case. Great for holidays, meantime. Great mobility with a car, and much less conspicuous at night.
I found that good manners and respectful politeness were of great value. I had a battery shaver, and sometimes went somewhere (library, for example) to charge it up. Rather than plugging it in secretly, I asked a member of staff if they'd mind. I was never refused. In the movies, this might happen several times, the interacting with the same member of staff. Then they fall in love, and ...
Star in your own movie!
Cheers!
