Hello travelers,
I have hung out here for a few years and actually have a Chevy Exrpess Cargo van 1500, into which I put a big bed but nothing else. I have a little family: wife, young daughter, and a few pets. We all live in a trailer home in deep south Texas on an acre close to the Brownsville/Matamoros border. I eke out a living as a community college instructor and would like to retire in the next couple years. We are in the process of going camping using the van and gradually hope to increase our reach timewise and geographically. If things work out, we will do a run to NM this summer still. Thanks for reading and take care.

Welcome Potter to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forums Potter   :)

Interesting that my Dad started his Van Living out in Texarkana, and I inherited it here in the southern tip of Ohio.

You may want to check out the two links below and get an idea of how he started his rig.  These could be a start for you.

All the best
