Hi all, new to the group forum, in fact, new to CheapRvLiving. However, I am eager to learn about the lifestyle of being "nomad" as that seems to be my innate nature.  I am so hoping to meet up with others and would like information about the procedure of meeting up with those who are planning on going to Quartzsite.  I can, the Lord willing, meet almost anywhere in Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas.  Looking forward to meeting all, enjoying the conversation, the exchanging of ideas, sharing friendship.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Tassie! Do you have a vehicle that you can use to travel and camp? If you do you may want to join a caravan - https://homesonwheelsalliance.org/caravans/
It looks like the latest caravan group is just wrapping up their two week stay but I'm sure another will be organized soon.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Hello Tassie - welcome to the forum! I'm new to vandwelling as well. I just moved into my cargo van in July, and right now am still dealing with moving out of my apartment. I know we can meet people at the van build and RTR - but also the caravans look like a great place to meet people as there are fewer people involved, and more time to get to know others well.

I plan to be in Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Texas this coming winter so hopefully we can meet up somewhere along the way.
