Hi everyone,
I was on here a while back under another name. Tothemoonandback. Somehow I got locked out of that name and couldn't get back in, so I have been stalking again. lol Now I know I truly have a gypsy soul that is who I have become on here.
To remind those that were here and introduce myself to those who weren't, I am from S.C. I had been staying with a friend in the upstate. I wanted to go on the road in my Kia Sportage but was unsure at the time if I could make it. I also had been in a wreck and had some injuries I had to deal with. That was in January. I returned to Charleston, stayed with another friend, and continued in therapy. I was hoping my wreck would be settled and i would have a van before getting on the road, but I guess life has other plans. Haha. My friend has decided she wants her home back to herself so out I go. With no home to call my own, I have decided to take to the Kia and head West to begin with. I did have work done on the Kia back in January, so short of an oil change, she should be ready to go. She does have 160,000 miles, but I believe there is one more good trip left in her. I guess this is my test run for when I get my van.
I am very very excited and somewhat nervous, but I am packed and first thing Thursday morning I am heading out. I need to stop in Tn first to see my daughter, but then I think I am headed to the Yellowstone area. I really don't have a lot of time for research so please advise me of cool things to do and see on my journey. I will stop in Reno to see family later in September and probably on to Cali before I meet my daughter in Miami in late October. I don't know if I have everything I need, but I am going. Hope to talk with you guys soon.
