I recently purchased a 2013 Toyota Tacoma TX Pro pick up and will be getting her ready for some off road adventures..... I have not completely decided on a name yet but was thinking about WwAVE.... The World Wide Adventure Vehicle. I added an ARE top to her this week and will make a few more Mods to her in the coming months. I plan to stay as "spartan" as possible with this vehicle as I really just want protection from the wind, rain and the occasional bear.

-nice rig dude! ...can't go wrong with a Toyota!

say, were you planning on sleeping in the extended cab area, if you were gonna stay in bigger cities & the like?

I was thinking of getting a pickem'up with an extended cab, for the purpose of sleeping in the back of the cab. I'd also remove the passenger seat.

also... does it have a sliding rear window?

That is one pretty ride, AK

Thanks Cyndi!

bobbert, to answer your questions, I decided to go with the Tacoma Access Cab because the bed is over 6 ft long and since I am 6 ft tall, I can in fact sleep in the bed. The ARE Cap has a slider window that opens to allow access from the cab to the back and allow fresh air in while still being safe. It's a relative secure model, with security grate over the back window and good locks. I wanted something that I can stealth park with.
-AK
