Yup Joshua Trees. Joshua Trees aren’t only in Joshua Tree. You’ll see one or two lonely ones all over the Mojave. By the way Joshua Trees are a species of Yucca, there are something like 50 species and Joshua Trees are one of them.
Sorry about the toe. That’s not good. I hope it’s healing well.

three folks on Ravelry have already reverse engineered the mittens into knitting patterns.

Bernie's mitts were actually made from recycled sweaters, so these are not true replicas, just inspired by Bernie's.
