I have for several years lived in a national park with Aramark doing most of the hiring. Most people that get hired use seasonal company housing unless they have pets.
Pets usually can not stand the heat without AC. Pets take up space and AC weighs more than most want to carry in small vehicles at any rate most here end up in smaller trailers up to 28' especially if couples, It just seems easier especially if you both work in different places. Couples are preferred because you get 2 for one as far as lots are concerned but demand for workers is higher, at least here, so we do have have some single workcampers.
