I really like your fire ring. got a story on it, homemade? store bought? got a link? highdesertranger
I had it made for me by a blacksmith friend. Another friend saw it and had him make her one. He said it was a royal PIA to do, and he'd never make another. He won't; his arm got messed up and he's hung up his hammer. But another smith might.
Mine has 3 legs and 4 flanges that turn in above the fire ring to support a standard round grill grate, which is the size it is. And a horseshoe handle.

When I worked at the Sahara Tahoe casino in the 70's I had an employee who spent the winter living in a teepee. Was a very comfortable home, but does take some adjusting to. I had an 18 ft. and used it often. Sold it at the Pacific Primitive Rendevoux in Oregon in 2009.

Do you have a website for the rendezvous? It sounds very interesting.
Most rendezvous do have websites. Google reenactment fur trade rendezvous black powder, stuff like that.
Put your state in the search terms, too.

yep, mountain man rendezvous, fur trade rendezvous, black powder rendezvous. they all work for a search. highdesertranger
