My new spiritual path

Hi I am a truck driver and have been living in semi trucks for a week at a time and home on weekends for many years so this should not be that much of a change for me to live in a van. I have been trying to figure out how to live cheap so I don't have to work so hard and can enjoy life, this to me makes sense! I like camping and being close to nature anyway. I believe this is the new spiritual path that I'm supposed follow, taking me to new places to see and new people to meet!

Howdy, welcome to the forum!&nbsp; <br><br>How on earth did you manage to land a trucking job that let you get home every week!&nbsp; I finally quit after I'd been out for 6 weeks and they tried to send me to L.A.!&nbsp; LOL&nbsp; You'll adjust well to living in a van.&nbsp; I almost wish I could park in the big rig section of truck stops...right next to a refer trailer with a smooth running compressor.&nbsp; Hummmmmmmmm all night long.&nbsp; Great sleeping.

How on earth did you manage to land a trucking job that let you get home every week!

<br><br>Well I guess I was lucky, saw an ad in the paper for driver pulling dry bulk tankers out of Las Vegas. Worked for that company for 6 years and now I am working for another company doing the same thing in northern NV for almost 8 years now. Not sure how much longer I want to keep working the long hours and it seem to be getting harder to make enough money these days. Employers just don't want to give pay raises as the cost of living rises.
