I have been experimenting and found a solution for cleaning greasy pans that works great (for me),

A shaker filled with Baking soda………..spray white vinegar...……spray water…...sink water sprayer

Cold water, wasn't that the name of the dog in the joke about cleaning dishes in . . . 

Beagle prewash, vinegar spray, wipe works for me.  The greasier the pan the happier he is.

An inexpensive off grid dish washer, a Lab.
Once they finish licking the pan wipe with alcohol and put it away.
