Los padres national forest

Does anyone know about this? Weather looks good on ocean. I will look up their are mountains which I want to avoid

I am in arizona, I grew up with gypsies, not really ?, we have to go to LA, then thinking joshua tree then probably then have base at long-term $180.00places, if there are more truck situations, which could be likely base is a good idea. Don't know if I need to be self contained though need to check.

I boondocked in the Los Padres National Forest for a few days in '14 along Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd. It was just above Kirk Creek campground, overlooking the ocean. Camped next to the road, with a killer view. Heard rumors that the locals got the boondocking areas shut down because of trash, fires, etc. but I can't verify that.

Some areas of Los Padres National Forest, and some activities within it, require a pass. You might see signs about Adventure Passes. But Interagency passes and senior passes are valid.
